It's as if I've been carried by the tide my whole life. At first, when I was young, it was fun. The water was shallow and I could touch the bottom. So it was fun to float along, enjoying what came. Of course there were spots where it was too deep to touch and my head went under. Those were the times it was scary but I always bobbed back up before floating along again. Neal paused in the middle of a brushstroke. For some reason he just did not have the motivation to paint today. He felt oddly on edge.  I really wish it was easy being a bitch. Sounds shallow right? Just listen. No matter how mean/rude/sarcastic someone is they still want the same thing as everyone else: for people to like and care about them. Even if they deny it, it's still human nature. Now, being a bitch is a combination of this (and many other things). It's an armor. And it can get chipped. By people thanking you for doing something. A compliment. A hug. And suddenly the armor is cracked. Then all it takes is one thing to get through that crack and cause pain. That's why no matter how much I want to hate people, my job, anything, I wish it was easier to keep the armor

Good News and Bad News

Well, I have good news and bad news. Good news: I AM MOTIVATED TO WRITE!!!!! Bad news: I'm not motivated to write on any of the stories I should be working on... Instead I have the urge to write a TMNT fic. And I'm still wanting (and by wanting I mean brain won't let me think of anything else) to write a Harry Potter fic too. *Sigh* First world writer problems.

Why do I do this to myself? Okay first of all I seriously need to write and update my stories. I know that. But of course that's not what my brain wants to do. I think about writing and the first thing that comes to mind is Tearful Love, the sequel to Bloody Tear, which I have barely even begun. Never mind the other stories I haven't worked on in months, my brain wants to work on something NEW. So I think, okay let's just start on that. At least that what I'm writing on SOMETHING.
